As we step into a new year, we want to shine a well‑deserved spotlight on a group of people who’ve made a real difference over the past year. In 2025, the Rolls Royce 9001 Social Committee became part of our story by choosing the Children’s Cancer Research Fund as their charity.
Their Easter and Christmas fundraising saw Rolls Royce colleagues coming together to fundraise and donate in support of childhood cancer research, raising £1,300.
As a small charity, we don’t have large offices or big overheads. What we do have is determination, purpose, and a clear mission: to ensure all children with cancer survive and thrive. That’s why support like the Rolls Royce Social Committee’s is so powerful. Their efforts go straight to the scientists, the labs, and the breakthroughs that give families hope.
At the end of January, we will be announcing a brand‑new research project launching in 2026 with the aim of finding kinder and more effective treatments for children with cancer, as well as looking at ways to diagnose the disease earlier.
To the Rolls Royce 9001 Social Committee and everyone who donated through their fundraising raffles – thank you for choosing our charity and for giving your time, efforts and donations – you’re making a real difference to children with cancer.
